Applying vinyl decals is easy! Here's a quick overview:

1. Clean the surface with a damp cloth and let it dry completely
2. Peel the backing paper away from the transfer tape
3. Position the decal on your wall. Firmly rub the design with a squeegee tool
4. Slowly peel away the transfer tape at a 45-degree angle
5. Use a squeegee or credit card to remove any air bubbles

Choosing between matte and glossy vinyl depends on where you'll use your decal and the look you want:

• Matte vinyl - Best for indoor walls, less reflective, gives a painted-on look, and hides minor surface imperfections
• Glossy vinyl - Ideal for outdoor use (cars, mailboxes, windows), more durable against weather, vibrant colors that pop

For outdoor applications like car decals, mailbox stickers, or any surface exposed to the elements, glossy vinyl is the way to go—it's more resistant to UV rays and moisture.

For best results when applying decals to wood surfaces:

1. Seal the wood first - Apply a clear coat (like Mod Podge) to rough or unfinished wood. This creates a smooth surface for better adhesion.
2. Clean the surface - Remove any dust, oils, or debris
3. Let it dry completely - Wait 24 hours after sealing before applying decals
4. Apply with pressure - Use a squeegee to firmly press the decal onto the surface
